If you've found your way into this dressing room, then you've already wandered farther behind the curtain than most audiences ever do. Welcome.
I'm Libby, and before the next performance begins, I'd like to tell you a little about the person who now occupies this room.
I've always believed that the strongest magic isn't found in elaborate illusions or repetitive chatter. It lives in quieter moments: an object with an unexpected history, a story that seems almost too strange to be true, or a mystery that leaves us smiling long after we've stopped wondering how it was done.
Old theatres have always felt like natural homes for those moments. Their walls have absorbed countless performances, applause, laughter, and secrets. I like to imagine that every theatre remembers the wonders it has witnessed, and that each new performer simply adds another chapter to its story. If my performances accomplish anything, I hope they leave this one just a little richer.
Beyond the stage, I'm happiest exploring many of the same things that find their way into my performances. I write fiction, play archaic musical instruments, wander historic places with a camera in hand, and spend far too much time following curious threads through folklore, history, and forgotten books. Those interests rarely stay separate for long. They become stories, and eventually those stories become performances.
Whether I'm appearing in a library, a museum, a historic venue, or a small parlour full of friends I know and those I haven’t met yet, my hope is always the same: not simply to fool an audience, but to invite them into an evening where wonder, imagination, and a little impossibility comfortably share the same stage.

Throughout history, people have gathered around cards, symbols, tea leaves, mirrors, and crystal spheres. Sometimes they hoped to glimpse the future. Just as often, they were looking for a different way to think about the present.
That's the spirit in which I offer these conversations.
I don't claim supernatural insight. What I do offer is a thoughtful conversation using traditional symbolic systems as a starting point. They're wonderful tools for exploring questions, possibilities, hopes, fears, and the stories we tell ourselves. Sometimes looking at an old symbol from a different angle is enough to see your own situation differently.
Whether you're standing at a crossroads, looking for inspiration, or simply curious where the conversation might lead, my hope is that you'll leave with something more useful than a prediction: another way of thinking about the question you brought with you.
